In as little time as it takes for the wind to shift directions or to stumble into an unsuspecting animal, things can change very quickly when hunting dangerous game. This constant uncertainty and very real presence of danger is what drives the big game hunter the extra hour, the extra yard, and literally miles past the pursuit of other trophy animals. |
And if it's big game and the adrenaline that drive you as a hunter, there is simply no substitute for having stalked within yards (or feet) of a Cape Buffalo or getting so close to Elephant - in jesse so thick - that you can hear their stomachs before you see them.
Shangaan Hunters conducts dangerous game hunts in a time-honored hunting tradition-fair chase. We offer the opportunity to match wit, skill and endurance with some of mother nature's most advanced students.

While hunting for another species entirely in 2004, PH Gordon Duncan and client Razor Dobbs cross paths with a
young bull in musth.
The bull charges, fails to yield to a warning shot and ultimately crosses that "imaginary line"
where a PH must take immediate action to ensure the safety of the client, staff, and himself.
